Tailored Obedience & Behavioral Programs

Behavioral Training

Why consider behavioral training?
If your dog experiences anxiety, fear during vet visits, or grooming, difficulty around other dogs, or struggles to cope with everyday life, behavioral training can make a real difference. We take a calm, supportive approach to help your dog build confidence, reduce stress, and respond more appropriately to challenging situations. Whether you're dealing with reactivity, resource guarding, or overwhelming emotions like frustration or overexcitement, we use science-backed methods tailored to your dog’s needs and pace. Our goal is to help your dog feel safe, relaxed, and capable, so both of you can enjoy a smoother, more peaceful life together.

Obedience Training

We don’t just focus on behavior — we also build everyday obedience.
That means helping your dog learn essential skills like polite manners at home and in public, reliable recall, loose leash walking, and calm behavior in new or distracting environments. Whether you're working on consistent responses during daily walks or building focus in busy spaces, we’ll equip you with practical tools and step-by-step strategies to create lasting, positive habits.

How Private Training Works:

Initial In-Home Assessment
Before beginning any training program, we start with a comprehensive in-home assessment. This one hour session allows us to gather a full behavioral history, set realistic goals, and develop a personalized plan that fits your dog’s unique needs.

During the assessment, you’ll receive:

  • A thorough evaluation of your dog’s behavior and areas for improvement

  • A customized plan including management strategies, enrichment ideas, and training techniques

  • Education on how dogs think, learn, and communicate using positive reinforcement

  • Helpful resources like training handouts, recommended equipment lists, and more

This session lays the foundation for meaningful progress and sets you and your dog up for long-term success.
